The first synchronization

After the capability check, TaktSignal reads your ERPNext data once — Reading data from ERPNext. Small factories take a few minutes; large sites can take longer. You can leave the window open or come back later.

What happens

• TaktSignal sends read requests for each readable document type, page by page, and stores the result in its local database. Nothing in ERPNext changes.
• Documents are limited to the company you chose; cancelled documents are applied as cancellations, and units of measure are converted.
• Records TaktSignal cannot apply safely are quarantined: kept aside and counted, never guessed. Affected data is marked incomplete, which lowers the confidence of alerts that depend on it.

When it finishes

You see how many records were read and continue to the Data Trust review: how complete and fresh each kind of data is, and what will lower the confidence of alerts. Read it before opening the dashboard — Understanding Data Trust explains each item. Tick I understand this is Community Alpha and click Open TaktSignal.

If it does not complete

Message	Meaning
Reading data from ERPNext did not complete.	Nothing in ERPNext changed. Click Try again. If it repeats, export diagnostics.
ERPNext has more data than one first read can take.	Normal for large sites. You can continue; the rest is read in the background and the affected data stays marked incomplete until then.

After the first sync

TaktSignal reads changes in the background (every 15 minutes by default — adjustable per connection in the app under Integrations), and you can click Sync now at any time. See Sync and freshness.
